March - North Central Sight Services, Inc. purchases the 2121 Reach Road facility.

April - Annual Dinner meeting successful with Lori Love named Employee of the Year, Frank J. Gerchow named Volunteer of the Year, Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind honored as Customer of the Year and S. Wolf & Sons named Supplier of the Year. Jim Gibbons, President & CEO of National Industries for the Blind gives the keynote address.

August - Leaders At All Levels training for all Associates begins.
Contracts are awarded and renovations begin on the new facility.

October - 22nd Annual Lions Appreciation Night held with twenty-one clubs attending.

November - All five modules of Leaders At All Levels training completed by all Associates.

December - Paul M. Diehl named Peter J. Salmon Blind Worker of the Year and Neal W. Hamilton named Milton J. Samuelson Outstanding Achievement Nominee.
The move to the new facility begins.
