2007 Capital Campaign "50 Years of Vision"
Striving to meet the ever-changing needs of people who are blind or visually impaired.
North Central Sight Services, Inc. (formerly the Lycoming County Association for the Blind) was founded on February 7, 1957. As the 29th branch of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, the primary mission was to provide support services for people who were blind or visually impaired. Since that simple beginning, the agency has held true to this primary mission. The recent move into a new building at 2121 Reach Road, coupled with advances in technology and recent steady growth in the industry, has permitted NCSS to continue to hold true to its primary mission and expand new and existing services to the eight counties served in north central
Pennsylvania
.
The new facility on
Reach Road
is a fitting new home for all of those employed by NCSS. It provides a strong base for all of the additional services and programs now offered. The investment in the new building and renovations has been significant. Your contribution to the 2007 Capital Campaign can help secure these valuable programs and services that add to the quality of life for the blind and vision impaired in our region for years to come.
