Campaign Receives Yet Another Outstanding Local Gift

North Central Sight Services, Inc. has received a gift of $15,000 from Muncy Bank and Trust. Dan Berninger, President of Muncy Bank and Trust presents the check to Ken Sawyer, Campaign Chair and Jeff Rauff, NCSS Board Chair. The gift will be used to help the local service agency pay for their newly renovated facility located at 2121 Reach Road,

. North Central Sight Services, Inc.’s is the recognized campaign for 2007.
“Our campaign goal is to raise $1,200,000 to help reduce the debt on our newly renovated 63,000 square foot building said Ken Sawyer.” “We are very grateful to Muncy Bank and Trust for committing to community reinvestment and believing in what we do for the region.”“We believe that the new facility is a positive statement for our organization and meets the current and future needs of North Central Sight Services, Inc. And the people we serve.”

The agency was founded in 1957 and provides rehabilitation services and employment opportunities to people who are blind and education/screening services to help prevent sight loss in an eight county area. They moved to 2121 Reach Road in January of 2007 after residing at 901 Memorial Avenue since its founding.
