Keyboard with large yellow keys and large print letters and numbersOur team includes an Assistive Technology instructor dedicated to educating individuals on various assistive aids designed to enhance daily living for those experiencing difficulties with their vision.
From reading the latest news article, preparing a meal, managing medication, to overseeing financial responsibilities – Low-tech vision aids can help users achieve greater independence in performing essential daily activities. 

Our Resource Center also includes state-of-the-art technology to further empower those with visual impairments who may be pursuing education, seeking employment, or simply aiming to enhance their technical skills. We provide comprehensive training on the latest accessibility features of both smartphones and computers, including screen readers, voice recognition software, and dedicated apps for people who are blind or have low vision. Additionally, we offer instruction on other advanced assistive technologies such as CCTV’s, digital magnifiers, smart home assistants, and smart reading glasses. 

Whether an individual’s AT needs involve simple, low-tech aids or more sophisticated, high-tech devices, we are committed to finding solutions that improve overall independence for daily living.
